About The Lesson and Social Dancing
On the dance floor, you’ll learn some East Coast Swing moves in the lesson and then get to experience a variety of different dances like East Coast Swing, Ballroom, Lindy Hop, Balboa, Blues, and Charleston during the social dance portion of the evening. And don’t miss the group Tranky Doo at 9:00 PM, followed by a dance jam for newcomers, returnees, and anyone celebrating a special event.
Music
The music at Fatcat is provided by live DJs who play a range of swing music from the 1900s to today’s hits, with a mix of fast and slow tempos. From big band and rockabilly to the latest hits, the DJs work hard to bring you the best variety of swing music and welcome requests.

The age range at Fatcat is typically those in their forties and above.
About Fatcat Ballroom & Dance Company
Get ready to swing out on the whopping 6,000 square foot floating dance floor. With space for more than two hundred dancers, this giant dance floor is perfect for big groups or solo moves.
