Get ready for an exciting East Coast Rockabilly swing lesson on a spacious dance floor where you can truly let loose and dance your heart out. And guess what? The venue is super well air-conditioned, so you can stay cool while busting your moves. Oh, and mark your calendars for 9 PM because Keith will be teaching a “new” swing line dance called The Madison. It’s going to be a blast!

About The Lesson and Social Dancing
During the lesson, you will learn some East Coast Swing and don’t be surprised if you learn some rhumba, cha cha, salsa, foxtrot and waltz moves, too. Social dancing starts immediately after the lesson ends, and you’ll see a variety of different dances on the dance floor, including the Lindy Hop, East Coast Swing, Shag, Balboa, Charleston, and Blues. Be sure not to miss The Madison line dance at 9:00 PM.
Music
The music is provided by live DJs who play a range of rockabilly and rock-n-roll music from the 1950s to 1960s, with a mix of tempos. The DJs work hard to bring you the best variety of rockabilly music and welcome requests.
Age Range
People of all ages, from teenagers to individuals in their 70s, come together for rockabilly swing dancing.
About Scootin’ Boots
Scootin’ Boots provides an incredible dance environment where people can learn to dance and have a fantastic time. The East Coast Rockabilly Swing class takes place in The Lumberyard, featuring a spacious 100’x100′ soft and smooth dance floor. At Scootin’ ‘Boots, you can enjoy some of the best Country Swing lessons available, along with various other styles of Country Dancing such as the Arizona 2-Step, Progressive/TX 2-Step, West Coast Swing, Waltz, Cha-Cha, Night Club 2-Step, and an array of Line Dances.
Food and Drinks
Snacks and soft drinks are available at the venue, and there are a couple of fast food places conveniently located next door.
Air Conditioning
Yes. (Keith proudly controls the room temperature and tells us he keeps it at 69 degrees!)
