About The Lindy Hop Workshop 2024
Saturday: All Levels Track
12pm – 5pm
Open to dancers of all experience levels
Sunday: Auditioned Track
12pm – 5pm
Requires an audition tape (due by February 10th) for acceptance. Auditions for the auditioned track should be submitted by Saturday, February 10th. To audition, email 2-5 videos that best represent your current dancing and philosophy in Lindy Hop to Julie.TPA.Arizona@gmail.com. They can be as formal or informal as you want them to be. The Auditioned track is designed for dancers who have been lindyhopping 5+ years who are actively working on their dancing through things like regular private practice, social dancing, traveling for events, performing, competing, taking private lessons, taking classes, teaching dance, participating in internships/mentorships, and/or collaborations.
Each intensive includes:
- 4 hours of immersive instruction
- Built-in breaks for body recovery
- A supportive and inspiring learning environment
About Z Room Mesa
The dance floor is 1900 sqft, providing plenty of space for dancing. The ambiance is enhanced by the presence of moody tea lights (large Christmas lights) around the room, which give the space a cozy and romantic feel. Additionally, LED disco lights add color and movement to the atmosphere, creating a fun and energetic atmosphere.
